D.C. United’s defensive effort was unquestioned in their 0-0 draw with the Galaxy last night at RFK Stadium. Offenisvely though it was a different story as the Black and Red struggled to carve out opportunities.
D.C. United are currently mired in their worst stretch of form for the season. A win against the high-flying Galaxy would go a long way towards restoring confidence in the side.
DC United gives up two late goals to United killer Landon Donovan to steal two points away from the Black and Red. A terrible penalty kick call against United and more poor defensive marking sealed United’s fate in this match and they had to go back to RFK with only one point.
